Also, "caring about Israel" could mean you have family or a friend living there, it could simply mean you care about the land in a religious sense (not the state), it doesn't necessarily mean you are a Zionist although I'm guessing most surveyed are Zionists, at least liberal ones.

You could say the same thing about EK's rants against the ideology of the Islamic republic, except that he is actually doing that from a racial/islamophobic angle rather than actual sensible critique like Hasan and the people being sued give to Zionism, a fascist ideology
