the united states pardoned everyone from unit 731 in exchange for their documentation on their human experiments
The Unit 731 experiments weren't anything valuable, either. It was just an excuse to torture people. Like yeah no shit people die when they freeze to death. There wasn't anything scientific regarding hypothesis, control groups, etc. so most of the data obtained was thrown out.
The same was true with "experiments" done by the Nazis.
Just wanted their snuff films.
And a few short years later the United States used biological weapons in Korea
