Maybe you're right. I have watched some really good and kind people turn into absolute monsters in the last decade. Like they are still who they were but now they have this compartment dedicated to bilious hatred. In my naivite I assume it can be wound back or excised.

Maybe it was always there and just grew.

Either way this is a deeply diseased society.
