Why are they just so sauceless? Do they not have the ability to actually pick up the messages that the left actually succeeds on and counter those? It seems like the only thing the state has been successful with is instigating infighting through the whole "tankie" vs "anarkiddie" sectarian split. If I'm being charitable, gender has been pretty useful for them too with how many people feel comfortable with the anti-trans-athlete culture war BS. But if they knew what they were doing, there'd be so much more they could do.

I guess the reason they don't pull out all the stops is that the western left is nonexistent but geez, at least taunt us about China not doing anything to save us or whatever.

synthesis: Anticommunist propaganda has never had to try very hard in the English-speaking world for many reasons. 1) They are able to say whatever they want without pushback in most cases, because most communist countries don't produce a counter-narrative in English. 2) A large portion of the English-speaking world reside in the imperial core and benefit greatly from capitalism, and therefore will not closely interrogate pro-capitalist motivated reasoning. 3) When all else fails, the states of imperial countries have moved in and prevented successful English-speaking communist movements from being successful by other means ie assassination and sabotage.

This is why I tickle myself when I do the bit about a chauvinist communist in a well-established communist society.

Oh, you want a bunch of firms to make coats? That would waste too much linen.

If the boss sucks then you just vote in a new boss. You seriously want to waste 100 million tons of linen so you can just gamble that some prick hires a good lackey to be your boss? You need to grow up because that's not how the world works.

The factory serves a purpose, you know.

Maybe when you get some actual real world experience you'll realize that human nature is to use tools and work together to solve problems. We're not just playing make believe in a bunch of little coat factories.
