That makes a lot of sense, I didn't realize our big wet boy was already so prominent in the late 80s
People have been shitting on Trump for as long as he's been around. Ocean's 13 had their villain modeled after Trump, too. Everyone in NYC has known he's an asshole who pays for nothing, always conducting a grift, and hangs out with people like Epstein. He's had multiple presidential campaigns before 2016.
The rest of the world didn't pay attention to him until he won the republican primary. But he's been a known scumbag for a long time among Hollywood and New York elites.
I've never watched The Apprentice, but I hate it for bringing this asshole back into the public consciousness. Nobody really cared about him in the 2000s until that show presented him as some business genius.
He's been a prominent piece of shit my entire life and I'm (optimistically) middle aged.
