Hexbear used to have a lot more out loud sex pests in it under pretense of "sex positivity" no matter what other users felt about it that used to outright creep on and even stalk other users.
VolCel gags are a sort of soft voluntary moderation pressure and I think they're overall a good thing.
I don't recall the exact identities of the pests, only some of their worst offenses. If some were mods, double shame on them.
