damn i was using this literally yesterday to figure out fabric dimensions. I'm sewing something MEDIEVAL, how did ye olde people do this without a calculator thonk

I think trig functions and identities have been known since Euclid, but idk if the knowledge was widespread to tailors/seamstresses and other craftspeople.
