Hello Liberals ralsei-wave

I say the last 10 days have probably been the worst 2 weeks i had in like years, my dad had a health crisis and had to go to the hospital so i had to be alone in my home while i wait if he died or not

During those 4 days one of my cats died, there was no electricity, no water, and it rain a lot

Thankfully everything is currently ok now since my dad is out of the hospital (free thanks to universal healthcare, thanks sheinbaum) and now me and my mom have to watch him while he recovers

In another important news i started playing an old flash game i used to play as a kid.

Pokemon Tower defence, I never finished it or the 2nd one but i remember it being fun. Im playing a version with regional forms and its pretty fun i got an alolan vulpix and it destroys everything with icy wind so she and my ivysaur are going to be my main team, there is also a hisuan growlithe i want but i still havent caught it

both the republic and the separatists used non clone/droid troops during the war mostly during defending sieges like the battle of mon cala and the battle of umbara, but during invasions both use the clone and droid armies

only the republic had most of their supply lines coming from kamino and it was attacked a few times by the CIS also i think they were the only ones capable to mass produce clones, the separatists were able to move their droid foundries else like mustafar were after the fall of geonosis so they didnt had that problem anymore

Hello nerds doggirl-hi, hope you all have a good week kitty-cat

Remember no crackers

anti-cracker-aktionqin-shi-huangdi-fireball

Hardtack (or hard tack) is a type of dense cracker made from flour, water, and sometimes salt. Hardtack is inexpensive and long-lasting. It is used for sustenance in the absence of perishable foods, commonly during long sea voyages, land migrations, and military campaigns. Along with salt pork and corned beef, hardtack was a standard ration for many militaries and navies from the 17th to the early 20th centuries

The name is derived from "tack", the British sailor slang for food. The earliest use of the term recorded by the Oxford English Dictionary is from 1830.

It is known by other names including brewis (possibly a cognate with "brose"), cabin bread, pilot bread, sea biscuit, soda crackers, sea bread (as rations for sailors), ship's biscuit, and pejoratively as dog biscuits, molar breakers, sheet iron, tooth dullers, Panzerplatten ("armor plates"; Germany) and worm castles. Australian and New Zealand military personnel knew them with some sarcasm as ANZAC wafers (not to be confused with Anzac biscuit).

History

The introduction of the baking of processed cereals, including the creation of flour, provided a more reliable source of food. Egyptian sailors carried a flat brittle loaf of millet bread called dhourra cake. A cracker called bucellatum is known in Ancient Rome. King Richard I of England left for the Third Crusade (1189–1192) with "biskit of muslin", which was a mixed grain compound of barley, bean flour, and rye.

Because hardtack biscuits were baked hard, they would stay intact for years if kept dry. For long voyages, hardtack was baked four times, rather than the more common two, and prepared six months before sailing. Because it is dry and hard, hardtack, when properly stored and transported, will survive rough handling and temperature extremes. Dry hardtack is dense and virtually inedible; troops issued it usually made it edible by dampening, or crushing the biscuits

When James VI and I set sail for Norway in October 1589, his provisions included 15,000 "bisquit baiks". By at least 1731, it was officially codified in Naval regulation that each sailor was rationed one pound (450 g) of biscuit per day.

By 1818, the United States Navy had outlined that each sailor was to be given 14 ounces (400 g) of bread per day as part of their daily ration while serving onboard in the form of hardtack.

During the American Civil War (1861–1865), three-by-three-inch (7.6 by 7.6 cm) hardtack was shipped from Union and Confederate storehouses. Civil War soldiers generally found their rations to be unappealing, and joked about the poor quality of the hardtack in the satirical song "Hard Tack Come Again No More".

With insect infestation common in improperly stored provisions, soldiers would break up the hardtack and drop it into their morning coffee. This would not only soften the hardtack but the insects, mostly weevil larvae, would float to the top, and the soldiers could skim them off and eat the biscuits. The grubs "left no distinctive flavor behind.

Some men turned hardtack into a mush by breaking it up with blows from their rifle butts, then adding water. If the men had a frying pan, they could cook the mush into a lumpy pancake; otherwise they dropped the mush directly on the coals of their campfire. They also mixed hardtack with brown sugar, hot water, and sometimes whiskey to create what they called a pudding, to serve as dessert.

Modern Use

Commercially available hardtack is a significant source of food energy in a small, durable package. A store-bought 24-gram cracker can contain 100 calories (20 percent from fat) from 2 grams of protein but practically no fiber.

PRESS RELEASE FROM FRANCE INSOUMISE

Interception of the Freedom Flotilla ship by Israel: illegal arrest of 12 humanitarian workers and peace activists, including French MEP Rima Hassan and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.

June 9, 2025

We express our deepest outrage following the interception, last night, by Israeli authorities, of the Freedom Flotilla ship, which was carrying humanitarian aid intended for the civilian population of Gaza, subjected to a total blockade since March 2, 2025.

On board the ship were 12 humanitarian workers and peace activists, engaged in a strictly civilian and non-violent mission. Among them were French MEP Rima Hassan and Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, figures recognized for their commitment to human rights and international justice.

This interception, carried out outside Israeli territorial waters, constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, particularly maritime law and humanitarian law. The arrest of the crew members and the seizure of aid intended for a population in immediate humanitarian distress are unacceptable.

We call on states, the European Union, the United Nations, and the entire international community to:

▪️Strongly condemn this illegal arrest

▪️Demand the immediate and unconditional release of all crew members;

▪️Pressure the Israeli authorities to allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza without hindrance, in accordance with international law

It is the duty of all nations committed to human rights not to remain silent in the face of these flagrant violations of international law committed by Israel.

Solidarity is not a crime. Free the Freedom Flotilla crew!

We salute those holding a vigil at Place de la République tonight. This Monday, June 9, join us across France for mobilizations in support of the Freedom Flotilla and for an end to the genocide in Gaza. In Paris, 6 PM at Place de la République.

More than 17,000 acres around the Klamath River in Northern California, including the lower Blue Creek watershed, have returned to the Yurok Tribe, completing the largest landback deal in California history.

The Yurok people have lived, fished, and hunted along the Klamath for millennia. But when the California gold rush began, the tribe lost 90 percent of its territory.

For the last two decades, the Yurok Tribe has been working with the nonprofit Western Rivers Conservancy to get its land back. The 17,000 acres composes the final parcel of a $56 million, 47,097-acre land transfer that effectively doubles the current land holdings of the Yurok Tribe.

The tribe has already designated the land as a salmon sanctuary and community forest and plans to eventually put it into a trust and care for it in perpetuity.

“No words can describe how we feel knowing that our land is coming back to the ownership of the Yurok people,” said Joseph James, the chairman of the Yurok Tribal Council, who is from the village of Shregon on the Klamath River. “The Klamath River is our highway. It is also our food source. And it takes care of us. And so it’s our job, our inherent right, to take care of the Klamath Basin and its river.”

What the establishment truly fears

Los Angeles has become a flashpoint in the Trump administration’s escalating war on immigrants. On Friday, June 6, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided a Home Depot parking lot in the city’s Westlake District, detaining several undocumented day laborers. Later, agents raided the city’s garment district.

But ICE is meeting fierce opposition from community members. The raids sparked demonstrations, with protesters chanting and throwing eggs and rocks at the agents and police officers, who responded with pepper spray and tear gas. Forty-four people were arrested, among them California SEIU president David Huerta. The labor leader has been treated for injuries, but still in federal custody.

The next morning, ICE targeted Home Depot in Paramount, a city in the South Bay area of Los Angeles county. Agents literally chased people down the street but were confronted by the community. The majority Latino and Black youth built barricades around the store, and responded to the agents’ flash bang grenades, rubber bullets, and tear gas with rocks and bottles. They changed, “Fuera!” (“Get out!”) and “Get Out of Our Community!” Border Patrol agents dressed in camo gear were forced into a corner.

As the day progressed, clashes took place in Compton, Inglewood, and Long Beach, led by Latino and Black youth. Vehicles, including a Border Patrol car, were burned and young people took over the streets, marching with Mexican flags, wearing keffiyehs, and demanding ICE out of their communities.

Highlighting the interconnectedness of our struggles, protesters commented that Los Angeles shares a common cause with Palestine; that “the enemy is not me or you, it’s them!” The fight for Gaza is also linked to the fight for immigrant rights — after all, the weapons and surveillance used on Palestinians is also used to attack our migrant siblings in the United States.
