People could give things a name and write down what type of thing it is.

Also, consider picking up a job like that too or running for a seat on such boards. There's always too few applicants for such roles and extremists have an easy time enacting change.

I am using it on an Intel J5005 with SATA SSDs, managed through Docker. Works flawlessly.

If I were to upgrade, I would choose a board with a modern PCIe 4.0 M.2 Slot, because i'd like to put the database on fast NVME storage.

It's absolutely awesome and rock solid. It even allows for not syncing deletes, a sort of append-only backup in regards to files. Very handy for photos and especially large videos, because deleting them locally won't delete them remotely! And if you only sync in one direction, they stay off your phone. You can take as many videos as you want without filling up your phone.

Mein Favorit: Das Hindernis umfahren und das Hindernis umfahren

Also, they measure right next to the heat source and the markings can't compensate for better or worse insulation. It makes (almost) no sense to put temperature markings on them.

Just use powder. Put some in the compartment and a little into the basin/on the door. Now your pre-wash cycle is more effective than ever! Also, powder is cheaper most of the time. And also convenient - no individually wrapped pods!

Yeah, but that's only really true for the things you use often, isn't it? Sometimes you just need something that gets the work done and it's okay if it takes a little more effort than using the premium one because you can't justify spending that much for a one time use. Especially so if you need more than one specialty tool, because that adds up quickly.

Look, I'm a very technical person and I prefer long, auto-generated passwords stored in a password manager. It's stupidly simple, works with every service and I can hand-enter my passwords even on the most obnoxious smart TV set.

I get that Passkeys do that in a more convenient way and prevent regular users from reusing simple passwords. So far, so good.

But I also use several devices over several different ecosystems and like the syncing my password manager gives me. I even sync my TOTP 2FA codes. I also like being able to make backups of such important data.

I don't want to loose access to a service because I lost my phone. I don't want to go to the settings of #M services and add my #N devices. That is a LOT of work for very little benefit! And I need to go through that hassle again every time I get a new phone or tablet or laptop or desktop or smartwatch (?) or authenticator device.

Yes, some password managers like bitwarden also do passkeys and sync them. But I would still have to figure out which services use it. And then I am locked into my current password manager.

Remember to unclick your buttons if you're not paying for premium clicks. You wouldn't want to continously keep reordering toilet paper from Amazon, would you?
