here's your answer

Along with the ongoing shelling in various parts of the Strip, these Israeli military attacks have coincided with the peak of families’ movement with their children towards the designated vaccination centres. Some of these attacks have even targeted locations near the vaccination centres, endangering the progress of the vaccination process that is required to stop the poliovirus from spreading among Palestinian children in the besieged enclave.

Following its initial attacks, Israel is still targeting Palestinian clinics and hospitals where Palestinians are supposed to go for children’s vaccinations. The most recent incident took place at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City on Saturday 31 August, leaving three Palestinians killed and numerous others injured.

CAIRO, Aug 15 (Reuters) - A Hamas guard who killed an Israeli hostage acted "in revenge" and against instructions after he heard news that his two children had been killed in an Israeli strike, a spokesperson for the group's armed wing said on Thursday. "The (Hamas) soldier assigned as a guard acted in a retaliatory manner, against instructions, after he received information that his two children were martyred in one of the massacres conducted by the enemy," Abu Ubaida said on Telegram. "The incident doesn't represent our ethics and the instructions of our religion in dealing with captives. We will reinforce the instructions," he added. In a later message on its official Telegram channel, the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' armed wing, posted: "Your brutality is an imminent danger to your prisoners."

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/7/19/ticking-time-bomb-poliovirus-found-in-gaza-sewage

al jazeera reported in july that the gaza ministry of health said they had detected poliovirus in sewage

Gaza’s Ministry of Health said it had detected “component poliovirus type 2” in coordination with UNICEF, the United Nations children’s agency.

Earlier, the Israeli Ministry of Health said it had evidence of the “component poliovirus type 2”, found in sewage samples taken inside the Gaza Strip.

It instructed the Israeli army to vaccinate all troops in the Gaza Strip as well as those who are about to enter, and recommended a booster for those already vaccinated.

The discovery of poliovirus came after a European activist group released a report saying the Gaza Strip is “drowning” in hundreds of thousands of tonnes of human waste and rubble from the war.

UN health agencies started a global campaign in 1980 to eradicate polio, most often spread through sewage and contaminated water, but there has been a resurgence in recent years in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

so this comes a little over two months later, which is probably about as fast as the u.n. could organize getting some vaccines to gaza.

or like how hermes became sonic the hedgehog. but of course when they did that sometimes their own myths didn't map precisely and you end up with some oddities like how wario is both luigi's brother mario's evil twin in the legends from the early republic, but later versions have wario as luigi's father who built the wings after luigi became associated with icarus. hence why the main character of james joyce's a portrait of the artist as a young man is named stephen wario, indicating that he is perhaps destined to fly too close to the sun.

and banks and developers know there's more money in single family sprawl, especially when they can convince local municipalities to cut them sweet tax incentives to build more homes to address the housing affordability crisis...
