I still have eebie geebie uncomfortable ewwness when I remember the time I had to handle a cooler full of deer parts 20 years ago. I don’t even remember why I was doing it, other than having to because something something I was told to…uhh yeah idk just the horror of grabbing cut up pieces of something that was alive an hour ago and all the tendons and 👎

Well yeah there’s no compile button
GPG keys
There’s your problem right there. Like, really. Use SSH keys for this, it is infinitely easier to deal with.
Clickbait will have me walking on sunshine? Shit I’ve been missing out
Just search for “coccyx pillow” and you’ll find the same thing from a thousand random brands, no need to buy some weird designer version.
And yeah they’re great if you need them for some reason or another.
Hey that was my FOIA request
“Well I’m still gonna eat meat” was probably exactly what both of my parents said. A lot of people do. I don’t really know what to say to that so it usually does end the whole conversation.
I’m not a great opinion-water, at least directly. I hate being proselytized and marketed to and can’t bring myself to do it to other people.
That said, I’ve been told I was responsible for converting a few people over the years. Not being pushy or trying to convert anyone was a common thread there, however much that mean in context of anything else.
I’ve definitely had deeper conversations with plenty of people on the subject, usually when they’ve been trying to antagonize me about it but sometimes out of pure curiosity. Not a single one of those has ever seemed to go anywhere productive. Maybe a meatless Monday or two at best.
What could I do differently in these situations? I guess get over my hangups about preaching and actually preach is one thing, though I’m not convinced that would help. I don’t really have any concrete examples of being vegan having a positive effect on my life to lean on, no cured cancer or diabetes or weight loss or gain…but if I did I’d probably point those things out. 🤷
If it’s anything like the solar panel leasing scams in the US the downsides would be:
That’s definitely the problems with these contractors in the US. Might be different or actually legit elsewhere, but it’s a common “scam” for the last year or two and has boned a lot of people. IIRC it usually costs $20-30k to get rid of them or buy everything out to sell your house. Fine print!
