My old phone slowly died, so I decided to finally dump all the Google shit and bought Huawei Pura 70, it doesn't have Google services (as expected) AND also have a Chinese-produced Kirin CPU, so almost zero western dependency, and it's soooo good, I love it ๐ฅฐ

I don't understand why an HDD could possibly cause a game to freeze instead of just load slowly
Modern game developers don't cache textures into ram or GPU and prefer to load them on demand, so your disk is always working and and your game will freeze or look like 2 pixels if it's not fast enough to serve all the textures on time

I also found the jitsi is the best for screen-sharing, it doesn't ruin the quality too much and doesn't overload your network
YouTube was the main platform for videos, but now Rutube is gaining popularity - many people moved here and started using it on daily basis since YouTube ban. Some libs are still mad and plan to use YouTube "no matter what", but they are the minority.

Here in Russia state media is mostly bothsiding everything, condemning both Israel and "terrorist attacks" from resistance (at least government is doing a lot to support Palestinians).
