Yes, moving to a Man in the High Castle timeline was a mistake but I understand why, they didn't want to try and deal with the WWII burnout still lingering in the gaming world.

First one was before the Solar system finished forming, no life, it was also the size of Mars. The Moon is a combination of matter from that object and matter thrown up from Earth. Second one was tiny by comparison and we actually are pretty sure we found the crater

Once vetoed the bill goes back to the legislative branch, where they can overrule a veto if it reaches a certain supermajority. Or they could change it and send it back up the line as a new bill
