I have trouble paying attention to episodes after a big cliffhanger that dont address it at all. This was the first episode I skimmed through a bit just because I really wanted to see some of Marks reintegration before having to wait for another week. Also I think him and Helly having a relationship is the worst part of the show, it feels like something that's only included because its expected to be there.

Saboteur just got a steam release actually, I went back and replayed it. I really liked that the progression system was based on challenges, if you wanted to you could go and do all of them before you even started the story. It still holds up graphically thanks to the way they did the colour.

My one would be Quake Wars (2007). It was the first asymmetric multiplayer game I ever played and it was the last proper Quake game.

I never really understood how the same people who made DS9 then went on to create such boring character ensembles. You went from having shapeshifting goo, Ferengi, Lizard Spies, Jadzia, Clone Gene-warriors and Weyouns to Humans and the most boring species ever (TM) Vulcans. Why do they always go back to Vulcans when they are so uninteresting. Discovery should have started with the very first test jump sending them into the future, wiping the slate and going back to a space opera of the week.

This is the type of local history you can drive yourself insane trying to decipher. Local ghost stories are great for it, the best one I ever found was a theory paper about how the possibility that the British Army Intelligence purposely created occult panic during The Troubles in nationalist areas. Trying to discover the truth behind well known Troubles related stuff is impossible (sometimes literally) at times, nevermind something that, if it happened, would have never been admitted officially.

I really liked the bizarre setting they did, Fantasy London becomes A Medieval Sci fi city in the south african desert? Fantastic. Vimes running around dressed like a pirate with smoky eyeshadow? Great! I think though the whole story and writing was a mistake. Like even if you divorce it entirely from Discworld (which they should have done) its just not a very well written story.

That is the way to do it, right? Dump the bike in Central park, change clothes and just immediately head for JFK.

Alpha Beta Gamer is a website that showcases Demos, Alphas and releases of games. Most of them are indie games you would never hear about otherwise, there isnt a ratings they on their website they just post them in order. I've been using it for years to find interesting little games and demos.

But who mods the modmen?

Im a little dissapointed that it isnt easier to pirate the paid modules for alot of systems, but being able to speed up combat in crunchy systems is a godsend. No combat turn should take over a minute in any game.
