this isnt news, but my family has been sending videos of missiles and interceptors over their heads. obviously there is a real fear that a zionist interceptor could fall and hit them, like zionist interceptors have done in the past. but there is a real awe involved in all of what has happened today.

zionist jets shot down, possibly a high ranking zionist assassinated, and massive strikes into the heart of the entity. it really feels like a moment of joy for those of us who have had so much taken from our families at the hands of the entity.

this pales in comparison to what the entity has done to us, we wont rest until we are liberated with a right to return. but this really was needed for Palestinians

  1. Iran submitted a counter to US "proposal" which stated theyd commit to 3.7% enrichment as long as zionist entity's nuclear arsenal is dismantled

  2. Satanyahu calls trump for a 40 min call advocating to attack iran.

  3. Call ends, "security consultations" between satanyahu and his cabinet, reports of an attack in the near future, and total ban on publication about details by zionist media

Ward churchill has an interesting conversation about this at the beginning of his book Kill the Indian Save the Man He notes how Lemkins definition was gutted and stripped down to the current UN definition. Mainly because western powers like the US, France, UK, etc. could wash their hands of their own atrocities without being charged with genocide. It also was watered down in a way that let academia decide that genocide had only occurred once, to Jewish people at the hands of the nazis. Which in itself ignores the other genocide victims like Romani people at the hands of the nazis. He says this has allowed the zionist entity to gain unique political advantages as the sole victims of genocide in history. Its a very interesting read.

Another interesting point he notes is that despite most of the world ratifying rhe 1948 genocide convention, the US wouldnt do so until 1988. This is because congress couldnt pass it. There was extensive debate in congress whether Jim Crow or the indigenous genocide here on turtle island would open the door for the US to be charged. So, when they ratified it the US attached a reservation which stated the US constitution was the supreme law and superseded the Genocide convention. After the US attached this reservation, many western powers that had already ratified decades before submitted their own, similar reservations.

massive port explosion in iran, Shaheed Rajaee Port which is a large container port. Over 500 reported injured, unknown number of casualties. If you watch the videos it is strikingly similar to the Beirut explosion a few years ago

Investigations and recovery are still ongoing

BREAKING | A massive explosion has been reported at the Port of Shahid Rajaee, one of two parts of the port of Bandar Abbas, located on the north shores of the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran.

According to Mehr News, a fuel tank in the port exploded for an unknown reason, and rapid response teams were immediately dispatched to the area.

Port activities have now been suspended so that the situation can be quickly brought under control by security and relief forces.

The number of casualties from the explosion has yet to be determined.

UPDATE | The number of injured in the Shahid Rajaee port explosion has risen to at least 516.

Disgustingly they said because the port serves as a source of revenue and fuel and the attack was to "degrade the economic source of power of the Houthis who continue to exploit and bring pain on their fellow countrymen," which they say as they indiscriminately kill civillians.

havent posted in a few years, been lurking since october 23, my whole family is in Jenin, but I live in the so called united states. So I'll try to post news from and about Palestine when I can as my contribution to the mega.

havent seen this posted yet but US killed 70+ civilians and injured over 200 at Ras Issa Port in Hodeidah, very significant escalation in my view

UPDATE | Sanaa's ministry of health reports that the death toll of the US attack on Ras Issa Port in Hodeidah last night has reached 74 Yemenis.

At least 171 others were injured.

Rescue teams from the ambulance and civil defense are still identifying missing persons and searching for victims.
