The first time I watched Fury Road I was on acid and didn't know anything about it beforehand. It was such a profound experience that my whole perspective on media changed. The shitty part is that filming it was hell for everyone involved b/c of extensive use of practical vehicles (they actually built almost every car in the movie) and working in the middle of a literal desert for the whole process. So when people complain about the trailer for the Furiosa film having "too much CGI" it just seems silly. Miller correctly decided not to put everyone through that shit again and if the stories are anything to go by, that's easily the correct choice. Plus it still looks pretty good, I will get ungodly high and go see it opening night with my friends
I consumed so fucking many of these when I was a kid. I am one with the cracker, I sweat cheap salt and get big ouchie ouchies from the sun
@Kaboom@reddthat.com @qwertyqwertyqwerty@lemmy.one @BaroqueInMind@lemmy.one get in here and explain how it is "racism" or "hate speech" to point out how bloodthirsty and twisted the average honky is. Also "breaks commmunity rules"??? ??????????
We have DougDoug emotes?? Every day I learn something new lol
This is literally a libertarian talking point. Just because the state is fully paying for your healthcare doesn't mean the doctors all get replaced by untrained federal agents lol
Black hole sun won't you come?
You may want to clarify that you're talking about American Evangelicalism specifically (and on that point, I fully agree). This comes off as downplaying the very real persecution that, say, Palestinian Christians face from the Zionist state.
Ah so it's Super Size Me with Whiskey but with extra steps
