The UK does not have nuclear capable Eurofighter either. The only operational nuclear weapon system in British service is Trident, which is a submarine-launched ballistic missile.

As for Eurofighter of each Tranch are mostly the same design. However a Tranch1 Eurofighter is a much less capable plane then a Tranch3 one. The big difference is that the UK is replacing its Tranch1 Eurofighters with F-35 and Germany is waiting longer for Tranch4 Eurofighters, which will been completed 2030. There are also some differences in the weapons they carry and some different targeting pods and the like, but nothing insanely big.

Ernsthafte Frage, aber warum soll das ein Problem sein? Die Sektorziele bringen gar keinen konkreten Klimaschutz, da die Minister und das Parlament, sie einfach ignorieren können. Die Gerichte haben auch schon klar gemacht, dass sie keine konkreten Klimaschutzmassnahmen durchsetzen werden. Sprich die sind eh nutzlos.

Was die Grünen nämlich tatsächlich durchgebracht haben ist das Verbrennerverbot, Heizungsgesetz, massiver Ausbau an Erneuerbaren, Verschärfung und Ausweitung des Emissionshandels und einiges an Förderung für den klimaneutralen Umbau der Industrie. Das ist nicht ganz genug, aber bis auf Schwerlastverkehr und Landwirtschaft sind damit mittlerweile alle Sektoren langfristig auf Kurs Klimaneutralität.

Da sieht man wenn die Grünen die SPD erstezen, werden sie mit fast 40% zum Kanzler. Bei den Linken ist das nur rund 35%, aber trotzdem Kanzler.

The problem for large institutions is that they very often have specialized software relying on some American software or being American themself. More often then not that means converting large amounts of data from a propietary format into something useable by another software. The company selling the original software obviously does not want that to happen at all. Also both programs work in different ways, so data might have to be split in non obvious ways.

Then you need to retrain the workforce to use the new software, which probably does not work properly to begin with.

There are also often dependencies. Like Microsoft Office Add-Ins from third party vendors. They will not like going to Libre Office and it is likely not easy either.

Not saying it is impossible, but a transition takes years and is going to lead to some serious problems.
