Not directly related but I listened to a radio War Nerd episode for the very first time on Rwanda/Congo and I was sorely disappointed, the host just echoed the cookie-cutter western narrative that has been unchanged since the 90's. Notable (french) experts on the subject have firmly established in the wake of the genocide in Rwanda that the Rwandan Patriotic Front both during and after the genocide participated in mass killings of Hutus inside the Congo near the border regions that rivaled the scale and mass casualties of the Rwandan genocide. Some scholars allege that the Rwandan genocide should be better understood as a "double-genocide_ but this knowledge is nearly completely absent in Western narratives on the conflict. I've heard good things about the Podcast so I hope it was a fluke.

Ladies and gentlemen, history has returned will a bulging phimotic erection, and an IV cocaine addiction to boot. It is time to rally all our strength to conjure Eco-Stalin so that he may narcan this raging beast of capital and by doing so he will forge a new age of gay luxury space communism for our future progeny. For this we must struggle.

Hi I'm not going to lie I'm not going to give you too much to go on (sorry) but a couple of years of ago I remember learning about a US Bureaucrat the served somewhere between the Kennedy and Nixon administrations who was unique in his generally sympathetic views to nations like the USSR, China and Vietnam and only became more sympathetic to their interests as he grew older and may have even spoken at the UN expressing opposition to US foreign policy in his retirement. I believe he died in the 21st century but I could be wrong on that. I also remember something about him being essentially ousted prematurely by President (Perhaps by Nixon or Lyndon B Johnson?) but that may be a red herring. I figured the people in this community have the esoteric knowledge to divine something out of thin air. Thanks

Can't wait for grifting Glenn Greenwald to contaminate my youtube feed with slop created to convince quacks that Bolsonairo is an unfairly judged political martyr, even as he was actively threated throughout his administration.

This is actually great, maybe the morons among us will finally realize that the single biggest threat to socialist/progressive (limp-dick, I know) mobilization in the United States is the Democratic Party.
