The title is straight up lying and even proves it later by saying they own the largest market share in anime streaming. Even putting that aside, Sony had already tried and failed with their own streaming platform; they literally founded Vue in 2015. Just because it failed already doesn’t mean they are “ sitting the streaming wars out”. They ALSO literally bailed on Crackle about the same time.

Additionally, Sony still has a game streaming platform. They haven’t sit out on any “streaming wars”. They are pioneers in technology not fast followers.
