Loki was the only one I really liked.

The second one is just them having fun in Europe while filming a movie at the same time.

It's basically the guys' eurotrip.

Geez that's actually awful.

I really have no idea why anyone would buy one of these pieces of shit other than hype and clout.

Eh, I think they're fun heist movies. They're clearly having fun in each one and imo it makes each movie better for it.

[–] Zahille7@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Oh right. I didn't actually see that one so it's not even part of the series for me.

Nothing against it, I just haven't really been in the mood to check it out anytime I've gotten the chance.

I'm not sure about this. It's gotta be flawless in order to be even a bit successful. It's been 20 years since the last Ocean's movie, and I feel like the three we have with the gang is perfect.

Also you can't replace Bernie Mac. I miss Bernie Mac.

I'd say if they're a lightweight (literally and figuratively) then two should probably be the max, and if you want a third get a glass of water or two before you get that last drink.

I'm a big guy, but I don't drink much either and I'd definitely be buzzed after two drinks.

The bear-fucking scene will always be my answer to things like this.

You can't look at BG3 and go "yup, wholesome family fun for all ages"

Turns out you don't actually need OpenGOAL to play the Jak series if you already have an emulator, but it's like playing the game as if it was actually ported to PC.

And I gotta say Jak 1 looks gorgeous.

I finally got it installed on my PC. The first one runs flawlessly, and I haven't tried Jak 2 yet.

I also got PCSX2 and the first three Sly Cooper games, Jak 3, Time Splitters, and Superman Returns. I think I'm gonna go and download a bunch of old PS2 games to play

I would love if they brought the Jak & Daxter and Sky Cooper games to PC. Along with the entire Infamous series while we're at it.

"Old" PS5 games

I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most.

Mine are probably:

  1. Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music.

  2. Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth.

  3. Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.

I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.

We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.

What do you think?

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.

Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.

Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.

Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.

Does anyone have any possible insight?
