Oh look, more proof of genocide most of the world isn't doing shit about .....

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 3 points 3 days ago

Or even acknowledging it.

I have always been very anti-Israel the country, (not antisemitic, I have a few Jewish friends), not for ethnic reasons, but because Palestine was invaded by jews, with the excuse that their imaginary friend gave them that land a few thousand years ago, and told them that they were the chosen people (ergo, the rest of us are inferior). The people that lived there have been slowly invaded, dispossessed and oppressed. Israel has been playing a generational game.

But now they have gone full Nazi. They are copying the Nazi's behavior that was applied to them. They can no longer play the guilt card.

And considering 80% of Israelis support the extermination, the excuse of "it's Bibi" doesn't cut it anymore.

I agree but

I have always been very anti-Israel the country, (not antisemitic, I have a few Jewish friends)

You shouldn't reiterate this talking point, you are feeding the idea that Israel is a represantive entity for Jewish people. It's not, it's a state. A nazi-like State even.

Anyway you're right, I just want to nitpick on this because i feel like it legitimizes Israeli propaganda as well. :)

THEY are the ones who characterize ANY criticism of the Gaza genocidal policy of Israel as Anti-Semitic, so THEY are the ones "feeding the idea that Israel is a represantive entity for Jewish people," not those who criticize them.

[–] xiwi@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 days ago

Yes, but we don't to entertain that ridiculous notion even if it is in good faith or valid reasons.

This is a fascist (supported by radical religious fascists), which wants to save his own ass from the jail he should belongs. Nothing different from a Trump or a Bolsonaro.

Not facism it's jewish supermasism aka zionism. The court has no obligation to believe netenyahu liesthey seems to like what he is doing in gaza

[–] AngryPancake@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 days ago

Just yesterday I read a German article about the conservative party being mad about reducing weapon shipments to Israel and they were saying that we're arguing about how we have to help Jews and all that. It makes me so mad, why can't we just differentiate? Yes, antisemitism is bad, but don't use it as a tool to push an agenda. Don't let people allow inhumane practices because you can't differentiate between zionism and antisemitism. And politicians exploiting the emotional bias in people are absolute scum.

[–] jouhija@sopuli.xyz 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

This is ~~Zionism~~ religion

[–] elucubra@sopuli.xyz 3 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (2 children)

I am a recovering catholic, so not very suspect of being pro-religion.

Religion is not the problem, "churches" (the organized structure built with the excuse of religion.) are.

[–] jouhija@sopuli.xyz 8 points 3 days ago

You don't think believing in fairy tales and forcing them on others is a problem? Religion has been a system to control and oppress people for millenia, there wouldn't be churches to exploit people if there weren't stupid fucks that believe in mumbo jumbo

[–] random_character_a@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You sound quite Lutheran. Careful now.

Come here to the black light of atheism, "We have such sights to show you"

Aren't we all.

But if undeniable objective proof of god makes belief meaningless and therefore god meaningless, where does that leave you?

[–] elucubra@sopuli.xyz 3 points 3 days ago

I just don't bother. I try to live by my moral compass.

[–] JokeDeity@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 days ago

Not a war, no matter how many times they try to pretend it is.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

I don't think any reasonable person could ever conclude that this isn't deliberate. It's just another horrifying step in decades of degradation perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people.

Also a good reminder that if there is a god somewhere out there, they're the kind of person that likes to burn ants with a magnifying glass.

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 8 points 3 days ago

He literally and publicly said so from the start. It's the western media that liked to act as if not.

Original title: "Leaked Transcript Confirms Netanyahu Chose to Starve Gaza as a Method of War"

[–] Marshezezz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 3 days ago

That cunt deserves some very terrible stuff

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Hope to see this man executed at the end of an international tribunal

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 3 days ago

Okay...but most of us knew this, but what will this new revelation change?

[–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

There must be dozens of cabinet meeting transcripts that confirm this coalition's resp. Netanyahu's genocidal plans, going back many years. They've been published in both Israeli and international outlets.

I also don't see where this is "leaked", afaik it's public information.

[–] sqgl@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

We haven't even seen these supposed leaks.

Dunno about Israel, but, here in Australia, Cabinet documents are kept from the public for twenty years (even in peace time). Dunno if a transcript exists.

In UK then there is no transcript.

[–] Snowclone@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

I guess it's nice to have proof beyond their documented actions, but this all seems superfluous next to the established fact of their actions.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 days ago

Not "Art of War" but "method of war". Reminds me of that toddler who had someone write a book for him "The Method of the Deal".

[–] tired_n_bored@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

I hope and honestly also believe that Netanyahu's death won't be of natural causes. Sooner or later he'll face the consequences of his actions even if now he feels invincible

[–] sqgl@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

according to Israeli cabinet meeting minutes leaked on Wednesday to Israel’s Channel 13.

Why don't they show the minutes (and a translation)? Do Channel 13 somehow have copyright over the minutes?

EDIT: Googling Channel 13 Israel leaked minutes doesn't come up with anything from Channel 13 themselves. Do I need to type the keywords in Hebrew? I don't know Hebrew though.

It may even be a hoax we are all wasting energy on.
