If you hear a clicking sound run. It's the onboard bomb detector.

Only 6,000 blinks? That's nothing but a watered-down scam-in-a-bottle preying on the naïve drivers trying to buy blinker fluid for their very first time. It has to be good for AT LEAST 10,000 blinks before I'd even consider putting in my car

[–] Nfamwap@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago

6,000 blinks in a BMW though. That's a lifetime supply.

[–] CoderKat@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago

Hey, where'd you find this? Do they have any that works on the rear blinkers?

[–] Norgur@kbin.social 44 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Is it blinking? If so, you made a grave error in the handling of your BMW.

The rare picture of a BMW without a check engine light on. Truly a rare sighting.

If you knew the abuse I put my 21 year old used BMW through, seriously.

Oil change? Who ever heard of it? 50+ miles a day? Yep. Lower octane gas than it calls for? Absolutely.

The windows won’t roll down in the back and they’re held up with erasers cut at an angle.

She keeps going though. Smooth ride. No noise from the road. Premium sound system.

It has been the best car I’ve ever owned despite being treated like I paid 6 bucks for it.

Don't jynx it man, your head gasket might decided it's time to blow after you posted that comment.

You know the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?

Porcupines have the pricks on the outside.

5miles, that's like an entire 3min. I don't think it's supposed to stay on that long mate. Take it to the dealer and give them your credit card.

Did you watch the instructional video? These are just Christmas lights.

[–] son_named_bort@lemmy.world 16 points 2 years ago

You need to see the mechanic. Looks like you have too much blinker fluid.

[–] Turizmo@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago

You probably paid for the wrong subscription. Most BMW owners pay for the tailgating subscription, so they can stay as close as possible to the car in front. Just call your dealership and they can change the subscription from indicators to tailgating for only 499€.

Since it is mirrored it means you have to turn right. Dear god, do they just hand out driving licenses for free nowadays?

[–] Exusia@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago

No, daddy paid for it I think. He came home one day and said "here's ur car OP"

[–] Flumsy@feddit.de -3 points 2 years ago

Its not mirrored, what do you mean? The left blinkder is on

[–] bstix@feddit.dk 12 points 2 years ago

Press left horn.

[–] Xtallll@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 2 years ago

Nevermind it turned off.

OMG! It's back, what do I do!

Nevermind...

[–] elxeno@lemm.ee 8 points 2 years ago

The left seat heater is on, just cancel the subscription.

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago

It's only a problem if it comes and goes. Then your headlight oil sensor is probably shot. Heads up: it's not a cheap fix.

It should switch off automatically after you've overtaken the other cars once the car blocking you moves out of the way..

[–] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

You can't explain that.

[–] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I know nothing about cars, can someone explain?

[–] Mr_Dark 15 points 2 years ago

Found the BMW driver

[–] pinkwerdo@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago

It's the turn indicator

[–] Karyoplasma@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 2 years ago

It's the light that reminds you that your left blinker is still on.

[–] middlemanSI@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

It would be so refreshing it there was only one make of cars with no blinkers used on the road!

[–] Venat0r@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

I think that's the lane keep assist light, but it should be green on both sides, so I guess that means it can only see the left line, so be careful on left hand bends.

[–] Wonder_Wandering@lemmings.world 2 points 2 years ago

Don't worry, it's just an arrow pointing at the right speed to go through intersections at on the speedometer.

[–] MartinXYZ@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 years ago

So much whooosh in these comments.
