“The radical Zohran Mamdani cannot be allowed to destroy our beloved city of New York," the post read.

Right, so now Republicans love New York? Feckless twats.

This is who they're trying to make America "pure" and "safe" for. Fuck these troglodytes.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (2 children)

My God that is a punchable face.

I might pick that mug over spez for haymaker.

[–] TallonMetroid@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

¿Por que no los dos? It's not like you're limited to only throwing one punch.

[–] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 4 points 1 day ago

Nah, Spez has had it coming for a long time.

We need extra judicial powers, not extra chromosomes in leadership...

That man is terrified that if he lowers his smug eyebrows his hat is going to fall off.

Also probably terrified of women and minorities.

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago

I honestly thought it was photoshopped or AI...

I miss r/beholdthemasterrace from the other place. Someone should create a community on the fedi.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Same. But who would want to moderate it?

[–] ubergeek@lemmy.today 5 points 1 day ago

Peak genetics right there!

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Is that someone I should recognize?

[–] throbbing_banjo@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

If you do, please share with the class.

His photo is at the top of the article for some reason, at least on mobile

Every single dude with a trump hat looks like a seven year old wearing their dads hat, legit why are they foam cowboy hat proportions.

New Yorker here.

It's going to be an interesting race.

His best chance to win is if the Right goes all out in making it a fight between him and MAGA. Trump lost his home town by 80% plus of the vote

Is there some other strategy the right has?

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 18 points 1 day ago

Of course there are plenty of 'moderate bipartisan' GOPs who give lip service to centrist positions. Then they vote right down the Party line.

[–] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 4 points 1 day ago

and that was with crooked voting machine in my opinion

Has anyone else witnessed that while the racists get louder, more people are fed up with their shit?

If the Nazis are losing their minds over a progressive non-white mayoral candidate like this, I get the feeling they are becoming aware they are outnumbered.

[–] Nightwingdragon@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Really? Because all I've seen is every institution that was supposed to stand up to racism rolling over and playing dead at the first sign of pressure. Businesses, government entities, the press, colleges. Even Harvard has ultimately decided to bend the knee.

I'm not talking institutions, I'm talking individuals. Remember, institutions are run by the elite. The elite of course are interested in maintaining power only.

It's everyone else that I'm seeing it from.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world -5 points 1 day ago

No of those institutions are supposed to do anything about racism.

Schools school.

Legislatures legislate.

Everything else is opinion and I got one don't think for profit businesses have not should have an opinion on fucking anything.

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 67 points 1 day ago

The more push back he gets, the more I like him. (Each of these articles highlights more of his views and vision).

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago

Unamerican shitheads.

[–] Nusm@piefed.zip 15 points 1 day ago

Ahh, you know the old all-American saying: “If you can’t beat ‘em, deport ‘em.”
