Usually it's not until after they leave the service that vets end up homeless. I wonder if they'll at least find enough warehouses for them to sleep on the floor of, or if they're just gonna start tossing them down alleys or something.

Although I wouldn't be surprised at this point if they decided to start violating the 3rd Amendment; it's not like they care about following The Constitution.
This means nothing on the streets. The NG’s aren’t engaging with the public. It’s all optics and headlines.
And a lot of standing around doing nothing while burning taxpayer dollars

That only means something if someone is going to enforce it. When someone has a monopoly on violence. How do you enforce that against the person with the Monopoly?
The legislature and the Judiciary have effectively bowed down to Emperor Trump. Giving up any power they may have had . While many of them may not particularly like him. They find him more useful to their own ends. And nothing is going to change until their perception changes. Maybe the coming war on Iran will do that. Maybe not. The echo chamber is pretty thick now. And I am sure the majority of people will only hear positive news about it.
I am not a lawyer, so not sure if I understand everything that is going on.
It was appealed. The appeals court put a temporary stay on the order that would return control to the governor. The appeals court hasn't ruled yet, as far as I know. They may be waiting because there is another hearing Friday with the original Judge.
They’re going to take their fucking time so that eventually if any action is taken against Trump it’ll be months/years down the road where there will be no actual consequences.
Justice is unfortunately slow. Due diligence and all definitely takes time. And if everyone were acting in good faith that wouldn't be a problem. I don't think the judges are going to drag their feet anymore here than they would anywhere else. Though I definitely think we should already be Beyond this.
You know how they told you to come to a complete stop at stop sings? Same thing.
