This community is a mirror of the AltMedia subreddit at https://old.reddit.com/r/AltMedia.

Until January 2nd, 2025 the 'WorldNews` subreddit, with 40 million users automatically subscribed, had an 'Israel at War' livethread constantly at the top.

This community was founded to dissent from this forced perspective, and present the Palestinian and anti-establishment position in general.

This community is 'AltMedia' in the Mearsheimer and Walt sense. Not the Richard Spencer sense.

Probably because she took issue with children being killed, even if they were Palestinians

The people against her for it don't see murdered Palestinian children as children, they see them as subhuman, vermin even.

Terrorism. Saying all children should have homes and not die painfully in an ethnic cleansing is terrorism.

The worst kind too, anti-semetic terrorism.

Back in March, the New York Post ran an article about Accurso calling her a “Woke brainwasher” and warning parents against the influence they were allowing into their homes.

I didn't know Ms Rachel because my kids are grown, but this is exactly how a person with a "voice" should be using it.

Stop Israel genocide and antisemitism against the rest of the Levant Semites.

Ms Rachel is a bit of light in this dark time.

People like Ms. Rachel being pro-Palestine by the virtue of child welfare is an excellent example on how Communists ought to be combining the general with the particular.

You get a million Ms. Rachels politically mobilized and in your mass organization then revolution can’t be that far away…

People tend to like democracy though.

Communists love democracy so much that they believe that the working class themselves should administer the state.

That’s participatory democracy, a type of democracy which is denied by bourgeois democracy with it’s overemphasis on representative democracy.
