can't wait to see the one for the re-re-re-re-reboot in 3 years

[–] Kaput@lemmy.world 15 points 2 weeks ago

Why they don't put Clark on the poster?

[–] sweetgemberry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)
[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah it's got that uncanny sheen.

[–] Steve@communick.news 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That's just a normal style for movie posters.

[–] exasperation@lemm.ee 10 points 2 weeks ago

Probably where AI learned that sheen from.

[–] LonstedBrowryBased@lemm.ee 8 points 2 weeks ago

Don’t think this adds anything to the world

[–] mienshao@lemm.ee 6 points 2 weeks ago

Looks fun and kinda campy. Been majorly missing that from superhero movies lately. I’ll give it a shot! Not holding out much hope, but fingers crossed they lean into making a fun story and not try to take itself seriously.

[–] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 6 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Why do they have to reboot the exact same stories every decade or so?

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

Money, money, and πŸ’° cash monayy

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What story are they rebooting here?

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

My guess is a reboot of the origins story of supes.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 0 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

So you have no idea at all, yet claim it's the same exact story. Gotcha

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm not the one that said "ugh, they're rebooting again", pay attention

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee -2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Your guess is completely wrong.

[–] Zoot@reddthat.com 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You need to learn how to read

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

My guess is a reboot of the origins story of supes.

Their guess is wrong. Sorry to disappoint you.

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It's a guess, dumbass, you don't need to lick millionaire boots here to defend a product made to make the said millionaires more money and nothing more

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Time to move on kiddo. This is multiple days old already.

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Lol, using "kiddo" unironically... Grow up and stop worshipping slop, manchild

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Necroing a week old convo. Get a life.

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

In not the one getting mad because someone guessed a thing about a movie wrong (because you're a manchild who cares about superhero slop too much)

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 1 points 1 week ago

I love how this bothers you so much it's the only thing you're still talking about a week later lmao

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world -2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Claim? They said "guess" and you attack then immediately. Grow up and stop ingesting slop meant for kids

I mean consume more product, and then get excited for more new product!!!

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)
[–] gurnu@lemmy.world -2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Cooler than rabid superhero/star wars/etc movie man-child fans, for sure

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He says, while in a post about a superman movie.

[–] gurnu@lemmy.world -3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Sure. Just keep stroking your ego, that's really healthy

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 0 points 2 weeks ago
[–] Steve@communick.news -1 points 2 weeks ago

Because there are only a couple of dozen stories at all?

[–] dxc@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

A turtle neck would suit him well

[–] Artyom@lemm.ee 2 points 2 weeks ago

When your neck is that long, a turtle neck is just a collar.

[–] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 4 points 2 weeks ago

In the comics, it's canon that Batman runs a site called "Bruce Wayne is Batman."

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

Trailer had me hooked, gotta admit it. Might take the kids to this one, an actual theater experience.

[–] Schal330@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

I find it interesting that they have two different actors playing Clark and Superman.

Superman could launch all the nukes to the sun, toss billionaires into space, end all wars on the planet, a thousand other things to help the planet, but he doesn't do any of it. What's so super about him?

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Still miss Cavill.

[–] Ghostnigga@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Getting better and better
