I suggest you advertise this in !fedigrow@lemm.ee -- there are a fair number of people there interested in "growing" lemmy who might be interested.
I can help mod, time zone is PST. Admin would be better for someone else tho. Have attended 50501 protest & march. Have been on lemmy since the reddit API debacle
PST timezone I mean I don't have a job and I'm just wallowing at home. I'm happy to learn and possibly help.
Some background on what this movement is would be helpful. The sidebar on the community is not helpful either.

Yeah, a short explanatory paragraph at the top of the instance sidebar and this community sidebar would be very helpful. Maybe something like this, just off the top of my head:

I have often found this to be an issue with grassroots political organizing. Lots of calls to action without any context regarding the goal(s) or why people should care enough to join.
