Meh...not really...most of us are stuck in the rat race or dying in state buildings. Don't have time to fight gotta pay bills.
Maybe the future brings Madmax style roving gangs, but you're still expected to be at the office by 8.30.
It'll suddenly be remote everything again, and encouraged to not disrupt business. It'll be like the Covid scion days.
Where do people get the money to stock up on guns? They are friggin expensive.
Not really... You can get a cheap pistol or a shotgun for $200-$300, solid reliable handguns start at ~$450 and you can get a military grade rifle for $800
It's not nothing, but it's the same price range as most phones - if you want the fancy one with brand recognition you'll pay twice as much, but you can get quality pretty cheap if you do your research
What are you not American? They do not give you a rifle and a crate of ammo for your 18th birthday?
Idk when i turned 18 i filed for my social security gun and they gave me an M4 with my Social Security # engraved on it.

You can get a shotgun for less then $100.
My favorite for fucking around in the woods cost $125. I have several shotguns around that price range.
You probably should plan to spend more then twice what the gun is worth. Ammo to train, ammo to have, extra mag or two.
At least: I'm probably at 5x what the guns cost in training, ammo, gear, range fees, gas to and from the range (live in a city, so most local ranges don't exactly let you shoot 5.56) and so on.
Not the cheapest hobby if you're planning on actually serious about being able to use your guns if something makes that necessary.
There are a plethora of affordable options that are cheaper than a console or a nintendo switch nowadays.
Hi-points aren't fancy, but they're reliable and cheap, you can pick up a 9mm pistol for around $200 or less.
Farther up you've got PSA, where you could pick up a Dagger (glock clone) for $300 and an AR-15 for $399.
Again where are people getting that sort of money?
I saw a highpoint for $99 in a magazine around Xmas. They get stupid cheap if you wait

the prepared citizen movement-----------------------Not around here in WNC. All the nuts have the guns and the people who I have talked to about getting armed and trained don't want a gun. They are the ones who should be preparing.
They don't have to get a gun, they could get a pike and a trebuchet.
Although purported interest has never been higher, all the soft white libs I know are still deep in their full-of-shit phase and not doing a single fucking thing to prepare. It's only the far leftists and people in the center that are on the uptake thus far from my vantage point.
I haven't even filled the water jugs in my basement
