I bet the crowds here are larger than the crowd Trump had at either of his inaugurations.

They're larger than J6 thats for sure. I'm pretty sure that DC crowd tops the inauguration by itself but I haven't confirmed.

...anyone seen national news coverage of this yet?

Local news in MA is covering it.

[โ€“] ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net 41 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Looks like MSNBC is covering it.

I've seen several so far. I'm surprised I haven't seen much coverage of previous protests besides just a passing phrase.

I went to a protest today! In my small ass town! There were people on both sides of the road with signs, even in this deep red area. We got many more honks and cheers of support than I thought we would. Even one of our local pastors was out with a sign. Change is on the wind my friends.

It's change or die, so I certainly hope so. Thanks for getting out there.

I'm proud of people in my home state fighting back against the stereotyping!

Pic from Rochester D&C

Rochester, NY had close to 4,000 people show up out of a metro area with almost a million people. Not great but the weather also sucked so not a bad turnout either.
