I would have recommended "Cap'N Crushing Depression"

Or possibly "Cap'n Budget Crunch" with the speech bubble saying "This is my dinner."

Cap'n Budget Crunch is so good. I hope someone like suspicious plant does something like that.

edit: it's not suspicious plant. I can't remember the username, but it's the person who makes the fake packaged toys and stuff.

I think it's Obvious Plant.

Oops! all

  • college debt
  • untreated psychological issues
  • bills
  • layoffs
  • absence of human connection
  • unhealthy coping strategies

Plus self-inflicted struggles like:

  • self-diagnosed ADHD
  • self-diagnosed autism spectrum
  • non-binary gender so every wc in the world is kind of awkward

Since the Cap'N feels nothing, guess that includes not feeling his cereal cut open the roof of his mouth.

“I had crystal-sharp sugared cereal for breakfast to see if I still felt something “

[–] Hux@lemmy.ml 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I would totally buy that and have every intention of eating it, but wouldn’t ever seem to “get around to it”, yet I also wouldn’t really be able to account for what I was doing to prevent me from “getting around to it”.
