It's concerning what a few billionaires are doing but there are way more of us so if everyone is doing small things it can add up.

One easy one is noticing where businesses you deal with get their boxes. My favourite coffee roastery used to use Uline boxes but is switching suppliers after they learned the back story on those guys: https://www.propublica.org/article/uline-uihlein-election-denial

What are some other small ways you've found to push back on the attempted coup of our southern neighbour?

Not Canadian, but still switching suppliers.

Uline owners spent millions during Covid on propaganda that the vaccines were the real cause of Covid related deaths. They are truly EVIL.

The easiest one was switching my phone and computer's browsers default search engines from google to Duckduckgo. It was so easy even my elderly parents managed it.

Google, one of the magnificent 7, earns much of its profits through search, an estimated $300 per person per year...

Also swapped out Tidal for Quboz. Both of those are an easy half grand ish out of America, and that's before getting into foods and every other app I've switched.

Thank you for the recommendation on Quboz!

Anytime, just passing on the goodness another good person shared with me!

Thank for bringing attention to this. These people are pure trash.

there really is no right kind of republican. go back a few decades and they could show some reason but there is really no excuse for people supporting this crap now.

I bought some gallon glass jars from them a while back for an amazing price. It wasn't under after when looking at their website more did I stumble on the "about us" section and they make it extremely obvious it's a right wing company.

I found https://www.whitebird.ca/ on google which seems to be a decent alternative

Thank you! Hope the shipping isn’t too terrible out to bc though.

I did a quick search for my city and "cardboard box " and (after the paid uline ads...) found 3 manufacturers of boxes right here. Plus several other sellers of boxes and other shipping materials.

Oh yeah, I found out a couple of years ago. I used to buy stuff from them.
