Bro just outed himself as an idiot so hard. I've never seen someone unwittingly be so fucking stupid.

The more I sit on this trade the more I wish I could watch video of Rob Pelinka laughing his fucking ass off. He must have died of laughter when Nico said yes. My god.

My theory is that ownership cheaped out and forced Nico to do this. That press conference with Nico and J.Kidd looked like a hostage video lol.

Said the same thing, new ownership is all about recovering their money as fast as possible, in a year or two they'll "realize" that Kyrie, Klay, and AD is not a winning formula and say "oopsie, let's blow it up, hehehe", leaving the team in a sucking state for a decade or so.

I just don’t understand why didn’t the owners want more 1st rounders. Why are they happy at that? Rich people are so weird

New Owner Derangement is totally a thing. It happens over and over(Suns Now, Prokhorov Nets etc.).

These new owners buy a team and assume they can just run it like any other business. They think they can just come in and start making basketball decision but they don't know Jack shit about basketball and fail every single time. Most of them have failed upwards and convinced themselves that they're actually geniuses.

This whole thing is wild and keeps on getting crazier the more info that comes out.

Is he the most stupid GM in sports history or just a puppet to the owners order but why didn’t the owners want better return? they just helped Lakers and hurt their own franchise. This might be the weirdest trade I’ve ever seen. Obviously there has been bad trades in the history of sports where fans are laughing that other team got fleeced but this is first time when you just go WTF multiple times.
