It’s wild (and paranoia inducing) to me that they’re the degree of separation between Alex Jones and TrueAnon
All three groups have made a career out of being "edgy" to varying degrees. I see them all as basically apolitical, so it doesn't seem so weird that they'd brush elbows.
Like the old Chapo sub had a contentious relationship with the hosts but we were way more civil than this.
IDK about this. I recall it regularly showing up in lists of lefty podcast recommendations on the old sub when I joined. I even checked it out and was greeted with them talking about the most boring and impenetrable NYC art world drama imaginable.
I'm confused by your comment, what does that have to do with how people on the old sub talked about/treated the host?
