Hello! I'm a new user from blahaj.zone, I switched after I saw all the death to NATO responses to the defederation mega-thread. . This is my first time using a social media site like Lemmy (never used corpo social media at all). :3

Finally made an account after lurking for the past few months. This community is one of the few corners of the internet that doesn't give me psychic damage. Hello, comrades, thank you for the warm welcome and for being cool people on a cool bear website.

Sup. I'm a new transplant from lemm.ee expecting them to defederate in the future, so figured I'd pop in.

I've been lurking for the last month or so and ya'll seem cool. We might need to talk about the Deportation of the Kalmyks though.

Every time a user from another instance like @Pandantic@midwest.social comes here to ask us genuine good faith questions and is clearly intellectually curious and willing to learn, it warms my heart.
