Maybe this is me being a hopeless romantic but I almost wish Lemmygrad and Hexbear would merge into one giant leftist shitposting, praxis, and theory nerd space.
I think having multiple instances is probably good from resilience perspective, and amortizing operating costs. I do think it's good to continue becoming more aligned in terms of theory and ideology though. I'd actually like to see more communist instances around.
Let's see how many leftist instances can live rent free in lemmy libs' brains
Watching libs process the fact that their ideas don't have absolute dominance on Lemmy has been absolutely hilarious.
They imediatly scrambled to start supressing leftist speach and activities on their turf and spreading misinformations and lies about places controled by leftists just like their fed overlords
Watching aggressively "anti-tankie" instances get filled with reactionary and transphobic shitheads
And in the end the most reactionary instances started defederating. 😄

I also like the unified front concept too.
More leftist spaces that have open channels of communication would be tight.
