Google sells a $15 USB C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, and a $45 USB C to HDMI adapter. A $20 USB C to USB A cable. And a $20 USB C to USB C. This is standard market prices for big tech companies. I'm sure in a few weeks Anker or Aukey or whoever will have one for cheaper.

also usbc to 3.5mm jack adapters have a DAC inside. C-to-HDMI cables have chips in them

can't justify price of A-C/C-C cables tho

The difference is, Google's cables are actually good compared to Apple.

Samsung also sells a $15 USB C to 3.5mm dongle.

M8 it’s never about quality. It’s about the brand.

It's all extremely expensive for what it is compared to Anker / Aukey / UGREEN etc., but at least google's cables don't break easily.

In all honestly I’ve never had an Apple cable break. Haven’t had any Android cables break, either, just so you know I’m not being biased.

Maybe stop treating your cables like shit.
