I love Travis' reaction to Laura and Liam's character. Sam's character being a coward who ends up always killing the bad guys is hilarious.

I've just mostly been doing random 3x3 solves here and there while life is a bit busy at the moment. I'm averaging 15-16s now, very out of practice.

Just catching up on Worlds. Impressive 3x3 podium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFo80qam478

Finally caught up with Age of Umbra and I am loving it! Hoping for some more death rolls cos those are intense! Or actual character death would be interesting now that we’re getting close to the end of the run.

Got drunk and hooked up with a married customer during an event. He said he didn’t know the customer was married (no wedding ring). It was my first job out of college and I learned from the sales team that it’s widely known at these events that people “forget” their wedding rings for this exact reason. I guess he wasn’t fired because it was consensual, but weird because customer and her husband were running a family business so technically both of them were our customers.

I’m so excited! Although I’m pretty worried about the bathroom situation. I’m pregnant so bathroom trips might be a bit more urgent than usual haha.

Exciting news—our Darrington Press team has grown, adding Chris Perkins as our Creative Director and Jeremy Crawford as Game Director! We’re thrilled to welcome both Chris and Jeremy’s expertise in game design and storytelling, honed through decades of experience working together on tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars Roleplaying, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and Blue Rose. We’re enormous fans of their work and are honored to welcome them into our team.

At Darrington Press, they’ll be developing novel game concepts as well as expanding upon the games we’ve released so far! Here are some words from our new team members:

“Storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I do, and joining Darrington Press feels a bit like coming home,” said Perkins, Creative Director of Darrington Press. “I’ve loved being a part of the extended Critical Role family as a regular guest over the years and I’m beyond excited to help create new worlds full of adventure.”

“I’ve always believed that great games invite everyone to the table, and that’s exactly what excites me about joining Darrington Press,” said Crawford, Game Director of Darrington Press. “This team is passionate, wildly creative, and committed to building welcoming, connected, amazing story-driven experiences—I can’t wait to expand on what Critical Role has already created to develop some really fun and unique games.”

Welcome, Chris and Jeremy!

Oh that’s a short episode… I had to leave right before break so I need to catch up. But I’ve been loving the setting and the pace this has gone so far.

They might run away from fire in fear

I wouldn’t initiate or invite, but if I just happen to be in the same room with myself it would be fine. It would be mostly quiet and we do our own thing, or the occasional silly philosophical or metaphorical discussions but probably nothing real or deep. Or maybe it’ll be a free therapy session, having 2 brains figure out my emotions

It also annoys me that my insurance groups chiro together with physio so people might think that they’re alternatives to each other. I had a colleague who said “physio just gives you exercises/homework while chiro fixes you on the spot”

Went to a pretty strict school with uniform/dresscode in Asia. One of the rules is we’re not allowed to dye our hair. One of my high school teachers was convinced that all Asians have black hair, so my hair that’s very slightly brown under sunlight cannot be natural. It’s so subtly brown that most people would say I have black hair. It’s just that he saw me under the sun with my friends who had blacker hair than me that he assumed I died my hair.

At first he gave me a written warning. I thought it was stupid so I ignored it. The next time I had his class, he pulled me aside and told me he was gonna send me home cos I still hadn’t dyed my hair back to black. I’d never really been in trouble at school so I didn’t even know what I was supposed to do. Since he was teaching a class, he sent me to the teachers lounge and find someone there and tell them I’m supposed to be sent home. Luckily the teacher I found there was someone who liked me and when I told her about the issue she just laughed and said that’s stupid. She let me hang out with her until the end of the period so I didn’t have to deal with the other teacher until she got a chance to talk to him.

Sorry for the boring, empty post. On my phone but wanted to get this up since I’ll be watching at least for the next couple hours

Hi all, just wondering if there’s anyone interested in becoming a mod here? It’s a very small community so it doesn’t require much. All I’ve done is basically create weekly discussion posts (which I’ve actually forgotten). It can probably be scheduled with an app but last time I did that it posted 3x every week and I haven’t made the effort to fix it.

I have personal things I need to take care of so I wouldn’t be able to be online as much in the next few weeks or months, so any help is appreciated!

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

As the evolving fires in Los Angeles are directly impacting our cast and crew, we're taking a break from streaming this week with the intention of returning to Exandria next Thursday, January 16th.

In the meantime, the kindness of Critters like you has allowed us to make a donation of $30k to the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund through the Critical Role Foundation. Your generosity continues to help us fund emergency response efforts around the world and close to home, thank you!

While the situation evolves remember to take care of one another, reach out to those you can help, and stay kind out there. Light will always break through the darkness,

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a good New Years/break.

I've been using intuitive F2L but would like to be more efficient. I've watched a few example solves but I'm finding it hard to learn just by watching solves. So if anyone has a good F2L solutions/resource they're able to share, I'd really appreciate it!

Apologies for the late post!

News is a couple days old but I hadn’t seen it earlier. Heartbreaking.
