I don't really care because he can afford it many times over. At the same time I understand that moving abroad with your computer can be a huge pain in the ass, so I would like to see that suck less.

Easiest way to avoid the dismissals of the personal belongings tax exemptions is to just mildy damage the product in front of the officials, scratching the laptop cover with keys for instance or in a funny case I read on reddit about a dude who pulled out a hammer and dented a fridge he was trying to get thru customs tax free

Beyond my ken, frankly. I just watched a streamer I like have a hard time moving to Ireland in terms of customs.
