updated as of yesterday (July 21): based on a statistical model developed by a prestigious medical journal called The Lancet, Israel has killed roughly 434,800 people in Gaza since the country’s military started to attack the territory on 8 October 2023. That’s 20.7% of Gaza’s entire pre-conflict population dead. Over half are women and children.

A quick search came up with this suggesting a 6% drop.

Also interesting to note there’s this saying the population in Gaza went up 2%. Not sure what political leanings world population review have or why such a site would have any but I’m obviously skeptical. https://worldpopulationreview.com/cities/palestine/gaza

23000 hamas fighters remain with a population of around 400000 so around 5%.

The 6% announced drop was back in January

Yes. After 18 months? Of fight. So another 6 months on that.
