China is capitalism with a red flag, and so is Cuba, and so was the USSR. All failed projects that just returned back to capitalism. The fact you're trying to argue this shit while coming from lemmy.ml is hilarious. We all know your actual alignment.
China didn't lift anyone out of poverty. Just like capitalists, they just lowered the poverty threshold. They're currently oppressing their workers with massive work hours, no choice to join any union that isn't the government's, and they still have billionaires.
China is not and will never be socialist. You're a capitalist with a hammer and sickle.
