Milo trying to fit in with The Straights: uh yeah I might be a pedophile
he's emulating the straight people in his conservative bubble, which would be pedophiles
His right wing bubble were happy to talk about their attraction to kids until Milo brought up his interest in young boys, then they all mentally turned into vulnerable little children themselves and canceled him out of fright
If only they could develop empathy and put their efforts to good use
But of course people like that think of empathy as a sin, or a weakness to be exploited
damn, I knew he was shitty politically but I didn't want to make further assumptions
He was trying to explain something about how it's "normal" for young gay men in their early 20s to have relationships with older gay men and to refer to those men in their 20s as "boys." One of the people he was interviewing with mentioned it's fucking weird to be in 20 year age gap relationships, even if they're casual, regardless of gender or orientation. Milo then made the "joke" about being sexually abused as a child being a positive experience since it made him better at sex.
It's not as bad as you'd think, since he wasn't outright saying "Adults should be allowed to have relationships with children," but it was vile enough to end his pathetic career. Regardless of what his life has been like, it's a really gross thing to joke about or even hint at being okay. The right went ballistic anyway and the left was happy to see him gone.
I remember him talking about how he had a “relationship” with a priest when he was an altar boy. While he’s still a disgusting piece of shit, I do think part of it is that he’s trying to normalize the pedophilia that was preformed upon him growing up. Dude needs a therapist.
idk I won't get into it but I was victimized in a way similar to that I and I have absolutely zero interest in normalizing that kind of thing
