Are you conflating the Democratic Party with the “American left?” That would be exactly where your problem lies.
A lot of the fascist-lite party describe themselves that way.
But you are right they aren't.
Real left in the US accounts for an insignificant percentage.
Sorry for that handfull of people but in general I'm with the other guy and hope that whole country goes to hell ASAP.

I will say there is a problem worldwide, thanks to the level of discourse on social media, with people having much more shallow understanding and much more “punchy” takes without any shred of nuance (like your take). That’s not an “American left” problem. The death of nuance has eroded the entire level of discourse regardless of ideology. Worldwide. It’s why a take such as yours is even debated and not thrown right away as a trash, shallow, meaningless take.
You can ignore 95% of what I said and refuse to engage on any of those points while continuing to repeat a weak, nuance-free take with zero basis in anything anyone else can agree is happening outside of someone misunderstanding
You complain about the level Of discourse on social media. I blame the American bombs you guys dropped on my people, how you treated us and continue to treat us like subhuman enemies. How you blame your ills on my people, who were here first by the way. And now after going through all that, I see young Americans moralizing, and preaching to my indigenous ass about privilege and colonialism. Shut the fuck up and fix your country.

The US has no leftist party, actual leftists have no power and no control over anything. I am saying specifically that the anti democrat left is sharing the big fault in this past election. You didn’t just step aside but you helped MAGA win. You played right into trump, Putin and netanyahus hands. They made you all dance. You complained about the white old man but hated the educated black woman even more.
Now that is over You can now blame the democrats all you want but we are all eating shit because you guys decided that democrats were worse than nazis. As a Canadian you think we haven’t had to hold our nose and vote in a less than ideal candidate to oppose fascists? Cause we have. It’s our duty. The young left claims to want change but don’t want to work for it. None of you care about primaries or local elections. You bitch about the democratic candidate that was picked without your input instead of joining the party and voting on candidates and making your voice heard as a member. How many of you voted in the democratic primaries to elect Bernie? Or did you just sit at home and complained he lost? Fix the Democratic Party from within. That or start your own party, go the fuck ahead, but do it instead of waiting for someone else to. Have you volunteered for your progressive candidates? Have you joined the door to door campaigns and fund raisers? Have you voted on your school board elections?
Or do you just want to sit back and complain about the democrats not changing, without attempting to change them yourself?
