🇺🇸The US Congress has rejected an attempt to begin impeachment proceedings against Trump, The Hill reports.

The initiative was opposed by 344 members of Congress – all Republicans and 128 Democrats. Only 79 Democrats supported the idea of removing Trump from the presidency.

The impeachment effort was initiated by Democrats and is related to the US strikes on Iran.
