Andrew Cuomo was the most carbrain candidate.

He doesn't walk.

He doesn't take the subway.

He doesn't bike.

He only travels in his Ford dodger

He has been caught speeding again and again in his Ford dodger:

Cuomo was supported by Wall Street and Car Companies:

You defeated him. And the guy who won the democratic primary doesn't even own a car.

Congratulations πŸŽ‰ Β· πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³

He's what, 33 years old? I think the odds of him having a stroke and turning right wing are pretty low too. So that's another plus! Good job New York!

Him being 33 years old hits me kind of hard (in a good way) because I'm just a year younger than him.
When I see his age, one of my first thoughts is, "That could be me." Seeing candidates my age actually succeeding instead of geriatric ones actually makes me feel represented and that I could do something similar, too. Obviously not Mayor of the largest city in the US, but I could run for a city council position in the town I live in. And this makes it feel like I could actually succeed.

That's huge to feel in this day.

Is there an international version of it ? Like For EU, SEA Latin Amerixa etc....

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 19 points 20 hours ago

Give it a shot! Your city needs people like you.

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 13 points 20 hours ago

That could be you!

I feel exactly the same as a 32 year old! It really is inspiring

The stroke gun doesn't care about age, protect this man.

[–] LeninOnAPrayer@lemm.ee 11 points 17 hours ago

God dammit. I forgot about the stroke gun. Dems have the Jewish space lasers and Republicans have the stroke gun.

With the way things are right now I think we'll have to defend Zohran from both. Dems are getting on board the Muslim hate train really hard after his win.

I live in New York, I've had friends run into Zohran, and I'm only a couple steps removed from him socially. I'm told, admittedly not first hand, that Zohran basically stood up against a creeper in his friend group, and told the guy he wasn't welcome anymore with that sort of behavior. Sort of the opposite of the more common "missing stair" pattern

Fetterman was never a progressive or leftist. Willing to sell populism to get elected? Definitely. But always not a great guy.

Mamdani looks like he's solid all the way through

[–] LeninOnAPrayer@lemm.ee 3 points 17 hours ago

Oh absolutely. I'll take any chance to shit on Fetterman though.
