—❗️🇮🇷/🇨🇳 NEW: Iran's Minister of Defense, Aziz Nasirzadeh, landed in Beijing to meet with officials from the Chinese Ministry of Defense

This is something you might find interesting @i_c_b_m@lemmygrad.ml @ComradePupIvy@lemmygrad.ml
I am hopeful that this comes out with some sort of agreement, if that be Iran being added under the nuclear umbrella even temporarily, some sort of conditional defince treaty, but something more than the status quo.
That being said I am not super optomistic, the PRC has made great strides, and has conditioned its forign policy post USSR with avoiding getting into wars, as that makes it harder for them to be a propoganda target, and prevents them from over extending. the PRC has agian atleast sense the fall of the USSR been nothing if not risk averse, and only stepping where it knows it can, and this has served them well, the other edge of that sword is, I do not know how far they are willing to extend.
Right now, from some Cuban Telegrams, some speculate that Iran was receiving support from China and Russia in a very subtle manner. One iranian military channel quoted in the Telegram channel mentioned the following:
I have no doubt the PRC provided subtle aid, but I am hoping for something more overt. Something that would make it obvous this is not the US and Israel vs Iran (and Yeman and Gaza who the western press ignores or says is just Iran)
I am pretty confident that overt support will appear soon if the zionist entity keeps seeking war because that is speeding up the material conditions that will allow that type of support.
Right now, I speculate that lots of Iran's allies are buying time to speed the development of their material conditions(BRICS, BRI, industrialization of the global south, diversification). A hot war will very likely affect these long term plans.
Thanks. I just saw the clips of his arrival today. I'm really hoping China is willing to stick their out on this one for a defense agreement of some kind. The rhetoric coming out of Shitrael's political cabal right now is increasingly belligerent; they're basically announcing more attacks and sabotage in the near future. Just saw the Israeli Finance Minister declared Iranian banks as terrorist organizations. They're getting right back on the escalation ladder. Iran needs to be prepared. Russia and China can't just sit back and make softly worded statements about diplomacy if they don't want to end up isolated and under siege by the 4th Reich.
I hope so too. This is an excellent opportunity for China to test out some of their domestically made anti-air defences in a real combat scenario.
