Oooooooooh..... yeah, I hate this so much. I've had people say it to me about Vietnamese, too.

Put people in a position where they have no choice but to fight for their own lives and liberation, then can outsiders admire their incredible strength and determination of the struggle of the oppressed? Nah, of course they're just masochistic and deranged bug people.
