If Obama and Biden deported more people then trump (something Liberals point out as a gotcha or even positively), what is the difference between them and Trump? Its the visibility. The media doesn't cover the millions of deportations by Democratic régimes, but they cover Trumps
Liberals hate the visibility of the deportations. They want it done quietly, so they can have brunch in peace. They praise Obama and Biden for maintaining the mask of capital for them. Trump removes the mask and shows you capital's inhuman nature. Now the libs must perform or let their own mask slip.
It's about maintaining their own mask hiding their complicity. They want civility not visibility. They want orderly deportations not chaos. They want someone else to wear the mask so they can go back to "normal".
While they were protesting people in LA were still getting shot by cops. Why are the LA protests different? It's because they try to block and barricade ICE from kidnapping people. The No Kings protest is about maintaining civil liberalism, and thus pose no threat to its machinery.
Exactly.
Whenever the mask of "liberal democracy" slips off, we get so much clarity as to the true nature of what wears it. I actually prefer that honesty and I make sure to look closely and learn as much as I can from those moments. The tendency of liberal ideology to produce a cult of systemically oppressed who have a strong subconscious urge to only see the mask quickly restored, frustrates me endlessly.
Vibes-based politics is the opium war of class consciousness.
