All the reports about F-35 downings and pilots being captured is being reported from sources CLOSE to the Army, but not directly affiliated.

For the sake of accuracy, we will no longer report such claims without concrete evidence or official claims by the armed forces.

This doesn't mean the claims are all fake — but the chance does exist. The statement says most of these pages are run by 'fans', and therefore unreliable.
