They're doing it to check if people had unauthorized abortions, because abortion is illegal in the UK

In England and Wales, abortion remains a criminal offence unless carried out under specific legal circumstances.

How Illegal are we talking about?

i think there's a time limit.

but my ex had done some in the UK without any issues. just a couple NHS appointments
