Meanwhile, HBO and Max CEO Casey Bloys has claimed that the Harry Potter TV show hasn't "felt any impact" from Rowling's anti-transgender views, insisting, "It hasn't affected the casting or hiring of writers or production staff or anything."

This should be taken with heavy skepticism, Rowling is notoriously controlling and her anti-trans bias absolutely could impact casting and staff choices.

I think it's weird the way she was publicly pushing for 'Only English Actors' in the movies, and seemingly had heaps of influence there. And now she's a billionaire she either has no influence on casting or doesn't seem to give a shit.

honestly I think the company is just trying to avoid a lawsuit and being found guilty in an obvious potential for a solid discrimination case
